Notes: Originally from Barbara Steppel. 1 recipe makes ~3 cups for Passover seder

Ingredients

1 large apple, peeled, and cored

1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (omit if anyone is allergic)

1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1 tsp. honey (more to taste if the apple is tart, as some apples are less sweet than others)

1-2 tsp. sweet red wine (Manishewitz)

Directions

Chop apple into very tiny pieces. Mix with remaining ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to use.
