The night before, put beef short ribs in a pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then boil for 1 hour.
Remove from water and place in a gallon-sized Ziploc bag or a glass 9"x13" pan. Coat with BBQ sauce and cover with a lid or plastic wrap. Marinate overnight in the refrigerator.
Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour, or grill until hot and BBQ sauce caramelizes.
