Easy Broiled Chicken

Directions

Wash and dry bone-in chicken parts (drumsticks or thighs). Turn skin-side-up. Oil with pastry brush (canola oil). Season with poultry seasoning, salt, garlic powder, and paprika. Turn skin-side-down. Repeat seasoning.

Place chicken pieces on 2-part broiler tray on closest shelf level to top broiler coil (but not touching the coils). Turn oven to BROIL-HIGH. Check in 10 minutes. If browned, pull broiler try out to rest on stovetop and flip each piece. Brown again (usually less than 10 minutes). When brown, turn oven to bake at 400 degrees. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until juices run clear.
